This battle faced by children with epilepsy requires more than just medical treatment; it calls for a deep understanding of the condition. Epilepsy in Children not only impacts the child, but also affects their families and loved ones, who provide ongoing care and support. Having an empathetic, informed community can make a profound difference in the lives of these families. The UNICCM offers a valuable CPD program for social care workers and educators. This program allows them to study and share real-life cases, offering the tools and guidance needed to enhance the quality of life for children with epilepsy. It fosters a compassionate approach, ensuring these children and their families receive the understanding and support they truly deserve.
